Biography
Ms. Fitzgerald deals with all aspects of contentious and non-contentious corporate and personal insolvency, advising insolvency practitioners, accountants, banks, asset based lenders and other commercial organizations. She qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner over 15 years ago. Ms. Fitzgerald is an experienced litigator and acts for clients in a wide variety of disputes including corporate, shareholder and partnership litigation, complex contractual disputes, fraud and professional negligence. She has particular specialisms in (1) advising troubled professional practices, dealing with solvent mergers and general partnership work and (2) distressed charities, not for profit organizations and corporate simplification.
Ms. Fitzgerald regularly presents to client groups, and has lectured for the University of Amsterdam and at Insol Europe.
She is a fellow of R3, an elected member of R3 National Council and the Chair of the R3 London and South East Region.
