Biography

Mr. Allinson has specialized in insolvency work since 1987 and became the youngest lawyer to obtain the Licensed Insolvency Practitioner qualification a year later. He has been recognized by Chambers & Partners for many years as a “Leader in his field” and regularly lectures on insolvency and debt recovery to other professionals at national conferences and events. He is also the Law Society Director on the Joint Insolvency Examination Board overseeing the examination and appointment of new Insolvency Practitioners.

Mr. Allinson has written a standard text on Debt Recovery as well as numerous articles for legal journals and other business magazines. For several years he was involved in the Regulatory process of ACCA, latterly as Chairman of their Disciplinary Committee.
